Build Better Before the Earthquake Comes, Bucharest, Romania

During the 18WCSI conference, with the kind support of Dr. Ian Aiken, the new president of ASSISi, Dr. Andreea Dutu was elected in the Board of Directors of ASSISi. Then the Board of Directors appointed the Territorial Coordinators and for Romania Mr. Dragos MOCANU, from European Business Consult Company was selected.

On behalf of the ASSISi Society Dr. Andreea Dutu is organizing an event in Bucharest, on October 3rd 2024 and Mr. MOCANU is helping.
The event’s objective is to gather all the interested stakeholders on the topic of seismic isolation (SI) and damping technologies (DT).
Romania is a seismic country, and we can increase the preparedness for the next earthquake.
Thus, this is in fact a networking event where international manufacturers, design companies, general contractors, academia, authorities and students (future engineers and architects) will meet.
